Combining elegant, luxurious and rustic materials created a unique style that can only be described as eclectic elegance. A combination of Napa farmhouse, mountain life and a splash of Florida, where the homeowner's are originally from round out this cozy and inviting home. In the dining room is a custom oak dining table designed by Principal Interior Designer Emily Esposito and built by Mike Nethersole, owner of local MD Construction. This full-time residence in the private prestigious gated community of Martis Camp in Truckee, California won the Interior Design Award by Tahoe Quarterly Magazine in their 2018 Mountain Home Awards issue. It also won Best Multiple Residential Project of the Year 2018 from ASID CA/NV & LVDC and the custom dining table designed by Emily Esposito and built by Mike Nethersole of MD Construction won Best Custom Furnishings/Product Design of the Year 2018. This home was also a final nominee on the HGTV Faces of Design contest under the Countryside Escapes category in 2018 and was nominated Residential Project of the Year of 2018 from CATT (Contractor’s Association of Truckee Tahoe). The media room was featured in a piece by Dering Hall, Tips for Creating a Sophisticated Media Room.
